Family, friends, and bulldog lovers we are chomping away at the kilometers.The Halfway Mark has been reached, we crawled up mountains , roared down the passes, camped in forests and made new friends along the way. The Green machine hasn’t felt French soil beneath its wheels, not to mention the marathon it has been running

Family and friends, I am delighted to say we completed day 1, alive and in one piece. After a few tractor driving lessons and forest roads crash courses, we left Gosheim just after 11am 21 September. We decided to follow the bike routes as we wanted to avoid main roads and highways at all costs.

The haywagon was parked in the barn so that we could start with the sleeping courters, and this is where the tractor also asked us for some tlc. The bulldogs inline dieselpump had sprung a leak.
